Jon Klassen is an influential up-and-coming author and illustrator of children's books. He's even won a Caldecott Award, one of the most important book awards ever!

feathers and flowers to try to make friends, but ends up learning a simple lesson about friendship in the end! ER WILLEMS A Big Guy Took My Ball!by: Mo Willems Piggie is sad because a big whale took a ball she found, but Gerald the Elephant helps her find out why the whale took it. The answer will surprise kids and help them learn about why we shouldn't judge others. E RASCHKA Everyone Can Learn to Ride a Bicycleby: Chris Raschka Like Ruby Learns to Swim, this is a great and staight-forward story, but instead of about learning how to swim, it's about learning how to ride a bike.
