A lonely boy makes friends with a wild bird, who eventually helps him when he is bullied by other kids. Sad at times, but has a happy ending. It has wonderful illustrations and no words! The illustrations tell the story.

A Funny Little Bird by: Jennifer Yerkes
A lonely and invisible bird wears brightly-colored feathers and flowers to try to make friends, but ends up learning a simple lesson about friendship in the end!

A Big Guy Took My Ball! by: Mo Willems
Piggie is sad because a big whale took a ball she found, but Gerald the Elephant helps her find out why the whale took it. The answer will surprise kids and help them learn about why we shouldn't judge others.
