If you're curious, the only volcanoes in Texas are eroded cores of extinct volcanoes that last erupted millions of years ago and cannot ever erupt again. A well-known site is called Pilot Knob and located in Austin. The only active volcanoes in the U.S. capable of erupting are in the Western U.S., such as Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington state.

Map of active volcanoes in U.S. (not including Alaska or Hawaii) provided by USGS (U.S. Geological Survey). Click here to visit their Volcano Hazards Program page.
